PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, minor flooding of pasture land begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 8.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.4
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

  flooding of the Spencer city park and some rural agricultural
  areas begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 10.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.1
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Saturday afternoon.

Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Yellow Medicine
  and Lac qui Parle Counties.

.High water continues along the Minnesota River near Montevideo due
to recent rainfall. The river is forecast to gradually reach crest
Wednesday into Thursday. Additional chances of rainfall Thursday
night and continue early Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

    ending at 1000 AM CDT Wednesday was 14.8 feet.
  - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.8 feet on 06/17/1957.
